Orange Chicken Recipe

 orange-chicken.jpg

Ingredients:

2 lbs skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
oil for frying

Sauce:
1 cup orange juice
5 tbsp white vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
4 garlic cloves, minced
1-inch piece of ginger root, grated
1/2 tsp red pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch

Coating:

4 egg whites, whisked
1 cup cornstarch

Directions:

Combine all sauce ingredients except cornstarch and mix well.

Put chicken pieces in a bowl and pour 1 cup of the sauce over the chicken (reserve the rest of the sauce).  Mix it with your hands so all the chicken is covered with sauce.  Leave to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Put the remaining sauce in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.  In a small bowl, whisk 1 tbsp cornstarch with 1 tbsp of water.  Add cornstarch mixture to the sauce and stir for 2 minutes, until sauce is thickened.

Fry the chicken:

You will need to fry it in batches, so the chicken pieces are not crowded in the pan - they need to fit in a single layer without much touching.

Heat the oil (enough to cover the bottom of the pan) in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.  Put 1 cup of cornstarch in a large plate.

Coat the first batch of chicken pieces - dip them in the egg whites (so they are covered in egg white all over), then remove from egg whites and roll in the cornstarch (so they are covered with cornstarch all over).

Put the chicken in a frying pan.  Fry, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes, until golden-brown all over.  Remove from the frying pan.

Add more oil to the pan (enough to cover the bottom of the pan).  Repeat coating and frying with the remaining batches of chicken.

If the sauce got cold, reheat it.  Pour the sauce over the chicken, stir so it’s coated, and serve.

Guacamole Recipe

guacamole.jpg

This recipe is for true avocado lovers!

We want to enjoy the pure taste of avocado that we love so much!

No mixing it with lame fillers like tomatoes or onions - just the pure succulent taste of tender, buttery avocado that you can roll around with your tongue and enjoy every moment of it!

Take 1 ripe avocado. Cut it in half, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh with a fork. Make sure the avocado is fresh and does not have any brown in it - spoiled avocado is a no-no for us, true avocado lovers! Mash it with the fork, and sprinkle with some salt. Make sure to taste it before putting too much salt - we want the salt to bring out the taste of avocado, not overpower it.

That’s it! Avocado and salt - everything genious is simple. Enjoy! You can just eat it with a big spoon… without anything else to interfere with your avocado-eating experience!

After 2 minutes, flip the quesadilla and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.  Remove from heat and serve.  Enjoy!

7 Ways To Make Money With Articles

by Melanie Mendelson
http://www.goforyourdreams.com

If you write and submit articles on the Internet, you need to make sure you are getting the most money out of each article. Here are the 7 different ways to make money with articles:

1. Promote Your Website

Add your author bio at the end of each article with a short ad for your products or services and a link to your website. People who like your article and click on your link will be more ready to buy from you than a cold prospect.

2. Promote Affiliate Products

You can promote affiliate products in your author bio, and make commissions on all the sales you refer. Just register a domain name (so your link at the end of the article looks professional), and redirect it to your affiliate link.

3. Content Sites With Adsense

Use your articles to build content websites packed with useful information. Content websites are likely to get lots of free traffic from search engines. Place the Google Adsense advertisements on your pages, and get paid for each click.

4. Blogs

Start publishing a blog. Search engines love blogs because they are regularly updated with fresh content. Blogs tend to get a lot of traffic from search engines. Break-up your articles into smaller chunks and turn them into blog entries.

5. Mailing List

Collect your website visitors names and e-mail addresses and ask them to sign up for your newsletter. Regularly e-mail your articles to your newsletter subscribers, along with promotions for your website.

6. Information Products

When you accumulate enough articles, compile them into an e-book. Turn your articles into book chapters. Change a few things here and there, and you will have a new information product to sell.

7. Viral E-Books

Instead of selling the e-book that you made from your articles, you can also use a viral marketing approach. Add promotional copy to your e-book along with links to your website and affiliate links, and give it away. It will spread around the Internet like a virus, advertising your products and services and putting more money in your pocket.

How To Make Your New Year’s Resolutions Come True

By Melanie Mendelson
http://www.goforyourdreams.com

The New Year is the time for big dreams, hopes and promises. Then’s when most people decide to do something radical, like lose weight, quit smoking or make a million bucks. Of course, by February they lose their steam and put off their goals… until they make the same resolutions when the next New Year rolls around. How do you break the vicious cycle of empty promises? Here are the top tips on how to make your New Year’s resolutions actually come true:

1. Select ONE Most Important Goal

If you try to make too many major changes at once, chances are you won’t stick with any of them. Don’t spread yourself too thin. It’s better to have one major accomplishment then 10 abandoned resolutions.

Pick one most important aspect of your life that you want to improve. Forget about your other resolutions for a while, and focus solely on the most important one. When this resolution comes true, pick another one to pursue.

If you get even one New Year’s resolution accomplished, you’ll still be way ahead of most people who make the same resolutions year after year and never get them done.

2. Set realistic goals

You need to feel in your heart that your goal is doable. If your goal is “way out there”, it’s hard to take it seriously.

If the most weight you could ever lose before was 10 lbs, a goal of losing 80 lbs this year is a bit unrealistic. How about making it 20 lbs? Even if you need to lose more weight, 20 lbs will still be an excellent start.

Achieving your smaller goal will let you “taste success” and gain more confidence. And once you have the confidence, achieving your other goals will be a piece of cake!

3. Create a plan on how you will get to your goal

An idea without a plan is just a dream. If you want to get from point A (where you are now) to point B (where you want to be), you need to know how to get there.

Let’s say if your goal is to lose weight, you need to pick the weight loss plan that’s right for you and stick with it. This involves evaluating different diet or exercise programs, finding the one that fits you best and doing the things that are outlined in that program.

4. Set a timeline

When you create a plan on how to get to your goal, create a timeline for each part of the plan.

In the weight loss example, decide how fast you want to lose 20 lbs. Then create a timeline: if you want to do it in 2 months, that’s 10 lbs per month, which is 2.5 lbs per week. As the time goes on, you will be able to evaluate your progress and see if you are still on track.

5. Schedule the action steps

Find the time to do all the things that will make your resolution come true. Put those things down on your schedule for specific times.

For example, if your weight loss program involves exercising, plan out your week so you have specific days and times for your workout. If you know that your workout is planned on Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00am, you are less likely to skip it then if you planned to do it “when you find the time”.

6. Do It

Once you know what you want and have a plan in place on how to get there, all you need to do is follow it. Take action, and make this New Year YOUR year!
